Historic St. Mary’s City Star-Spangled Banner NHT Visit On April 24, 2021

Location: Historic St. Mary’s City

Time: 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Sailing the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail, PRIDE OF BALTIMORE II will be visiting Historic St. Mary’s City in partnership with the Southern Maryland Heritage Area & Historic St. Mary’s City.

The ship will arrive in Historic St. Mary’s City the afternoon of Friday, April 23, & will dock at the Maryland DOVE dock. The public is invited to walk out to view PRIDE II Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Access to the dock & waterfront area is FREE of charge for the weekend. However, we strongly encourage visitors to plan a full visit to Historic St. Mary’s City (www.hsmcdigshistory.org/visit-us/hours-and-tickets/).

Due to COVID protocols, we will not be able to offer deck tours or day sails. However, there will be an educational shoreside display near the ship. The shoreside display & virtual programs were developed in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS), since PRIDE II is now the sailing ambassador for the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail.
